Just wondering what they were. Heres what I gathered.

Talpidae : Provides detection bonuses.

When placed on your cheeks and using Mesmerise, your mesmerise attack gains +1% bypass and +5 ascendancy and power. In addition, on a sucessful attack, the mesmerise will apply a -1% foot defence penalty during cooldown and a -1% visibility penalty per rank.

Cool. Thats pretty much what I figured. No rush at all, but I figured maybe I could have hasten the process with some ideas. Here we go.

this bonus cannot exceed your rank in Ears of the Bat.

When placed on your chest, this rune causes you to become very thin, although more agile. You gain -1 brawn and +2 grace per rank. This power doesn't convert base Brawn, or Brawn bonuses from worn equipment.

When placed on your hands, this rune causes your arms and hands to become very powerful, although quite ungainly. You can no longer wear equipment on your arms or hands. Your hands gain +1 reach every 5 ranks. You also gain +1 physical bypass, +2 damage, +2 attack, and -1 hand defence per rank to all unarmed attacks you make. (added as if it were a natural weapon bonus.)

When placed on your feet, the lower half of your body becomes very powerful, although quite ungainly. You can no longer wear equipment on your legs or feet. You gain +1% immunity vs all per rank to your legs and feet up to a maximum of 20%. You also gain +2 speed, -1 ap costs for feet attacks, and -1 feet defence per rank

Why would it make the body weaker but the arms and legs stronger? Especially if is ties to the Earth, that generally makes me think of huskiness and the like

Well my reasoning fraust is that if it ties you to the earth it makes you more of a primal animistic creature. By making the body thinner and the arms and legs longer you get a more "psycho" type vamp. Also talpidae is a genus of rodents i think with thin bodies and long claw-like arms.

this bonus cannot exceed your rank in Ears of the Bat. You also gain +4 protection per rank. (*Shrugs*) I don't find myself needing detect very often. and I'm not sure what that has to do with the Earth. In my opinon cheeks should give 5 resistance per rank

When placed on your chest, this rune causes you to become very thin, although more agile. You lose -1 Grace but gain +1 Size and Brawn per rank. This power doesn't convert base Grace, or Grace bonuses from worn equipment. I dont personally want runes to affect primary stats. This will only promote high damage builds based most likely on infusion. I'd like to see it give +50 health per rank (2500 at rank 50)

Vamps have been left wanting as of late (although umbral flesh looks sexy) so I wanted to try and fast-track these runes and get them impd. Here are some ideas that seems balanced and simplistic.

The Talpidae rune represents your nocturnal affinity.

When placed on your cheeks, this rune provides you with +1 to detection per rank.

When placed on your chest, this rune gives +2% armour and +1 auto-absorb to all
locations vs poison damage per rank, and +10 Health per rank. If you also have Powerful Metabolism, these bonuses are all doubled.

When placed on your hands, you gain +1% critical bypass per rank for all hand-based attacks.

When placed on your feet, this rune improves your ability to avoid attacks. During cooldown you dodge at +1% feet Defence per rank.

Haven't thought of anything for tyrannus yet.

When placed on your feet, this rune improves your ability to avoid attacks. During cooldown you dodge at +1% feet Defence per rank(added to the 50% from Instinctive Dodge, or Ears of the Bat).

When placed on your cheeks, this rune enhances your Blood Potency. When you activate Blood Potency, you will inflict a mesmerise attack on your target. While using Puissance, your mesmerise will inflict -1 mental armour per rank. While using Swiftness, your mesmerise will
inflict -20 protection per rank. While using Fortitude, mesmerise inflicts -0.5% full regen per rank. Your bites will now also inlict Mesmerise on criticals. Your lowest rank of Blood Runes and Blood Legacy is used.

When placed on your chest, your backstab or throatslit attacks gain +1% critical bypass per rank.

When placed on your hands, your backstab or throatslit gains +2
bleeding damage and +1 second per rank up to your base Discipline.

When placed on your feet, your opponent will suffer a -1 movement penalty when affected by Mesmerise .
